What's the latest word on the external hard drive capability?

And is there any other way to get more storage for the VIP622?

The latest word was said earlier this year and has not changed.
The ViP-622 DVR does not support an external hard drive at this time.

The only other external storage is the PocketDish (send only) and dubbing off to a VCR/DVD/PC via the audio/video outputs.

I determined six months ago that the best way to "get more storage for the VIP622" was to buy a second VIP622. Have been real happy with that decision, especially the way availability of the external hard drive has gone.
