Tennis Channel coming to DirecTV... HD in December

Tennis channel makes a multi-year agreement with DirecTV. Six channels of French Open begins May 27th... Regular channel fulltime in Summer on Basic Tier... HD channel launching in December.

I just looked at the article. I think that D* is going to put the channel on the CHOICE XTRA package or above. It says that when the full-time channel launches in late summer, it will reach an audience of 8 million. I could be wrong, but that is what it sounds like.

I received a reply form D and they told me they should have a full line up of programming in August. But they will be showing the french open as mentioned in previous post. Too bad all the good players are gone. Sampras, Aggasi, Edberg, etc.

Anyway, there is no U.S. version of the NHL Network available at this pointto any provider...only the Canadian version (which I have access to via Star Choice, and even as a puck fan, it's honestly not that great a channel).

Hrm "adult" makes it sound pornish and thats not what it is.....well most of it anyway.

Anime is animation that generally has plot lines you wouldnt see in the US. They are typically more complicated than having an anvil drop on someone head. Things you might have seen or heard of would include Robotech, Voltron, Speed Racer, Naruto, Princess Mononoke, Spirited away. Just to name a view.
