The Noreaster has knocked my new dish out of alignment. I am only getting my local channels here in Richmond, VA. I looked at the dish. Not sure what is out. Don't want to wait a week for a service call. Any suggestions? Links to other threads that may help?
Thanks in advance.

look at the sat meters ( the one with the 2 lines).. just pick a transponder on 101 and try to bump the dish back.. most people report it has spun on the pole so try side to side first..

Yup, I concurr with Dr. Houskamp.
The clamp that holds it on the pole is the "weakest link".
Loosen those 3 bolts just enough so you can turn it.
Use a cell phone on the roof to call the house phone.
Have someone inside watching the signal meter for transponder #1 on 101.
Ask him to keep repeating the strength every second while you make small movements of the dish.
Once you get a strong signal on #1, have him scroll thru all 32 transponders to make sure they are all (except the few that are zero) have a good solid signal. Then switch to each of the other 4 satellites and check those strengths for each transponder.
That should be enough, but if it's not, and one sat is good but the others aren't, here's some great videos that can show you how to adjust all the other screws for tilt and stuff.
