Hello Again
I have read the PVRs have a partition structure that is un-accessable by DOS or WinXX. I assume this is true, because in trying to hook up my PVR HDD to my PC, I receive an 80 pin cable violation. Yes, I have researched the drive (Maxtor 20Gb), and my jumpers were set correctly. I even unhooked my HDDx2, DVD, CDR, CD, floppy drives to see if there was a conflict.
The reason I want to do this is I would rather have a loud whine on a testing PC sometimes, but not a loud whine when I watch TV all the time. How many of you have been woken up in the middle of the night by that damn whine?
If anyone has a workaround for this, I would much appreciate it!
