Ok, I've got 2 HR10's and an HR20. I have a Harmony 628 remote that I use to currently control one of the HR10's and the HR20. Right now I'm trying to find a way to program this remote to control my second HR10, without it working the first one. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do??
I changed the remote control ID's on both of them, but as all of you probably already know, this didn't work.
Thanks

I don't know the answer but I'll bet you can find it here:

If the 628 is a learning remote then just set up each HDTivo with a unique ID and then transfer those codes from the peanut remote to the 628. Look in your HR10-250 User's Manual for info on setting up unique remote codes.
I had the same problem when trying to program a Harmony 890 to control both a Tivo S3 and a HR10-250.
The problem is that by default the harmony is set to ID zero, which is the universal Tivo ID and will control all Tivos.
I called harmony support and they set the ID correctly for each of my devices.

If you have a peanut remote that has its remote address set to a different address, then that can be used to teach the Harmony 628. That's what I did with my 628. It is controlling a DSR6000 and the HR10-250 with different remote addresses.

My universal remote (Home Theater Master MX-700) is programmed with every Tivo codeset available (1-9), except the default set (0). I work with a lot of Tivos and it helps to be able to assign a different code to each one so the remote won't interfere with the operation of any other Tivo in my system.

Thanks for all the input guys...I just finally called Harmony and spent soooo much time on the phone with their tier 1 support before the girl figured out what I was talking about. I told her that I had already changed the remote ID's on the original remotes and she still proceeded to tell me how to do it...but, I can't complain...the tier 2 guy helped out a lot and was fast about it.
