Comcast Sportsnet Chicago changed the HD game from the White Sox telecast to the Bulls. Just talked to D*TV - they are aware of the problem, but aren't sure of a solution....
I offered up a hockey game instead, but he said that wasn't likely...

Not sure what DirecTV could do about it...
Comcast changed their broadcast... but they changed it long enough ago, that it was represented in the guid.
Did they end up showing the Bulls game in HD on CSN-CHI-HD ?
The guide had the title, but no indicator of HD.... I watched the Bulls on ESPN-HD and the Sox game was up on 668

Wow - they changed it on your local guide but didn't change it on the MLB EI package? Again, I'm left shaking my head....up until the first pitch being a tip off, viewers outside of Chicago were expecting a baseball game.
And for the record, I'm not blaming D*TV for not having the telecast (I know CSN-CHI made the decision), but, if it happened "long enough ago" as you say, how could D*TV not make a change for the MLB viewers? My guide and the web site said it would be an Angels/White Sox game. There were plenty of other HD baseball games they could have slotted in there if one hand was talking to the other.

Only throwing this out there as a idea...
It is possible they where communicating with Comcast Sportsnet to see if they coudl still carry it for their other viewers...
-------
Or most likely:
EI Schedules are done by DirecTV internally (Not going through TMS data services)... So Comcast Updated their data listing for their channels, but nothing flagged or told DirecTV that something changed, thus they didn't know to change the EI Schedule (which they probably setup much earlier)...
Until after the broadcasts started and someone made a phone call.

I see. Thanks Earl.
I still wish one hand would talk to the other. We're talking about 2 National HD signals here - 94 & 95. How hard can it be to, once a day, make sure that the programming is going to be on? It's been unbelievably bad in my opinion since the start of baseball season. I fear what happens when every RSN has two signals (HD & SD) - they can't even handle two right now.
