Dish PVR 501 and locals

Is there a way to record local through antenna on the pvr 501? My understanding is that it only records a digital signal. Can analogue be converted? If so how is it done?

The 501 can only record the Dish bitstream, the only way to record locals on the 501 is to subscribe to locals if theyre offered in your area.

Sorry electro you are out of luck on that one. I dont believe any integrated PVR can do that.
