I was a User for years about 4 years ago but left to Comcast. Comcasts is great when it came to HD, but I had it with the constant Rate Hikes and the fact that I basically had limited channels and a DVR and it was costing me $80 a month. So I took advantage of Verizon's Package deal to get phone, DSL and DTV for $99. I figure I'll go Fios if ever offered. The Deal was for a one room System, so I ordered 4 more receivers all SD. If I decide to go HD in the Future (say Next Year) when they have more HD, or decide to get their DVR, how hard will it be for me to upgrade from an all SD System?

Did you even consider Dish Network?

It won't be hard. Just call in and get whatever the offer is at the time. They will upgrade your dish and multiswitch which are included in the offer price. You would then have to pay the HD access fee and DVR service if you go that route.

Had Comcast for 3 days. Moto box didn't work properly. They charged me $108.56. Wanted it for VOD.. Monthly rate here was: $92.76.

When I dropped dish last year I tried to get comcrap. They couldn't even run a simple cable to get the signel to my house. After dealing with thier crap for 3 months I told them to stick it and called D*. I wanted comcrap for on demmand, but D* is getting that in July so I'm glad I went with D*.
