Which markets are using 103 and more specifically, Transponder 17.

For the first time I am getting a signal off the 103 satellite. I am getting 98 off Transponder 17. Since I am not getting a 98 anywhere else, I am interested to know what area I might be seeing.

My locals are Minneapolis which are off 99

And you're getting good levels from 99?

Still reading 0 on TP17 here in SLC. (That or my BBCs are broke.) :)

And you're getting good levels from 99?

No! I am at the very top of the beam. According to D*, my address should never pick up anything from that beam.

Something did just occur and that is maybe D* is going to fire up HD locals for Duluth-Superior. I have never gotten a signal from 103 before this morning so something has changed..

Maybe it's the way I have it configured but the maps do not seem to work. All I get are little gray and black dots.

Thats the map. :) It is a rendering of all the US zipcodes by their geographical centers. Out west, they get kinda sparse.

Oh yeah, something happened..for the past week almost the transponders have been giving problems for many DMAs. I think D* rearranged their "line up" to improve [well try to] the usage of the transponders & spot beams for "new additions". It's taken almost a week to straighten out all of the signal for people who "should" be getting them [and weren't].

Gray is the map & black is the transponder when it is over 50% [at that location, zip code].

With the problems they where having with the 103 sat in some area's, they may have move Minneapolis to 103 and one of the area's affected to 99....
