Problem with one tuner

When I try to go to HBO HD on channel 70 using my HR10-250, it tells me it can't find the signal on input 1. If I switch to the second tuner, i can get to channel 70. It happens on a few other channels as well. I can access other channels on this tuner with no problems, however.

What could the problem be with this tuner?

Try swapping the two Satellite Input cables on the back of your DVR. Does the problem stay with SAT1? If so, then that tuner is defective. If it "moves" to SAT2, then something is wrong with the cable/connector or dish/multiswitch output feeding that cable.
