I have an HR 10-250 TiVo, no trouble in almost 2 years of use.
I've had random issues with the LA-HD feeds, usually later in the evening and always on ABC and CBS. Fox and NBC and HBO and the rest are fine. A couple of times the picture has cut out for 30-60 seconds on Dancing with the Stars and Jimmy Kimmel but has come back. However, several times in recent weeks Letterman is unwatchable; last night, Shark had sound but a very pixillated picture but then the local news that followed was fine. The first 30 minutes or so of Letterman were fine but then went off and I lost it. Same thing happened the night before, the first half hour was fine. It _seems_ like it gets better if I stop the recording and tune to the channel manually but that may be a coincidence.
It seems like it is happening late at night and mostly on Letterman - but that may be because I watch the show every night.
Sunspots? Random radio activity? Something going wrong with the tuner?
