301 Update Status?

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know the status of the 301 update with Dish Home and more? I know that some of you have received it, but I thought the rollout would have complete by now for all 301's.

I'm guessing there are alot of 301s out there (any leaser who with a 2nd reciever or any leaser who didn't want a 501) plus most new installs. So just by #s it may take alot longer than other rollouts.

I've been wondering, now that E*8 is up, if they might not be focusing instead on guide memory management (switching to using spotbeams to download most local guide info) just because of the huge volume of complaints they must get about that from 301 owners. That just seems like a natural priority.

301 owners complaining ?>!? How about EVERYONE who doesn't have a PVR ! Believe me, it's an issue with my 4700 and 2700 as well.

Of course you are right, but the focus of the thread was 301s in particular, though part of my point was that the guide thing was a lot bigger issue in general (even if I left that part unspoken :) ).
