HD Locals in Springfield, Missouri

...Anyone know when DTV will roll them out? I have heard this summer to next year but I cannot get a straight answer. They also do not have OTA HD. I live in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. Does anyone have any ideas?

I don't think Directv have announced HD locals for Springfield, MO yet. Are you saying that your local stations don't broadcast in HD now for your OTA?

Springfield does have local HD's. Mhayes, where do you find out what cities have been listed as going to get local hd's? Id like to know if joplin is on the list.

yeah, I am saying that my OTA is only picking up analog here at the lake and I cannot get an answer about HD locals through DTV.

Springfield, Mo has HD locals? OTA or through DTV? If OTA, that is my point. I am in the Springfield region but am too far from towers at Lake of the Ozarks to get OTA HD reception. When does Springfield get HD locals through DTV?

Opps. I was wrong. Springfield, MO is on the list for HD locals with Directv. It was actually on the list for the end of 2006. But, that didn't happen. I would guess that they have not been able to get agreements yet with the locals stations to broadcast them yet. I would suggest e-mailing Directv or contact your local stations to see what the status is.
