....my HR20 finally had a major issue.
it was recording cold case and sopranos in the 9pm time slot last night and I hit list to watch something else, scrolled down to a recorded show and hit play and it froze. i didn't want to loose what it was recording so i let it sit until 10pm. then i did a RBR. when it came back on i hit list and it flashed up an error saying i had less than 10% of free space!?!?! when it froze i had around 65% free space (maybe 10hrs of recorded content on the drive). it had deleted all of my planet earth episodes that i was in the process of watching (they weren't marked "keep until i deleted" so i guess it purged them. i tried doing a mark and delete to see if one of the recordings were corrupted and taking up a giant chunk of space but that didn't help. i did 2-3 more RBRs and still nothing. unplugged the unit for ~5min and then powered back on... still showing 4% free space. so i just documented all my series links and did a Reset All. went through the setup and now it seems to be fine.
i did some research before doing the reset all and couldn't find anyone else running into the same issue. i'm not running the latest software, i'm on the latest national release i believe.
FYI- earl, i wish you would have sent out a mass email telling everyone they had to resubscribe to the cutting edge notifications, i had no idea that was the reason i haven't gotten anything in a month or so.
