DirecTV Programming/HD/DVR/Panama

My wife and I are considering moving to the mountains of Panama to retire. Seriously.
I am aware that DirecTV is available in Panama with some programming in English.

I am wondering if anyone here knows:

1. Is it possible, as I have read, to sub to Puerto Rican D* to get more US channels, including networks?

2. Is HD programmin available on either the Puerto Rican or Panamanian system

3. Does either system offer TiVo/DVR service?

I was also noticing that after I posted. The only decent information I see is by selecting the country, but I can not read the language.
As the previous person stated, call the company, there is a number they can give you for DirecTV Latin America.
To hopefully address some of your questions, from what I have read in the past, there is a DVR type of receiver available for Latin American service. The model number begins with an L (L11, etc). I can not answer number 1, but I do not believe that HD is currently available. You may want to select one of the countries and see what packages they list. Wish you the best.
