I went to a CEA sponsered HDTV roundtable yesterday consisting of HDTV manucfaturers, retailers & broadcasters.
One new tidbit on programming that came out is that Monday Night Football will be available in HDTV again for the (next) 2003 season.
Also, the ESPN HDTV channel that launches in April will initially be HDTV for "selected" games but at a later date (6 months?) the studio will go HDTV, too.
