View Full Version : How Would The Web Look On A 50" or Bigger HDTV?
Is the main reason the web on TV hasn't caught on yet is that the web doesn't look that great on a big screen HDTV? Does it look fuzzy?

I've got a 61" that's driven by a home theater PC and Web pages don't look that bad on it, but that's not what I use the HTPC for, other than when I'm updating drivers or other software.

Maybe you haven't hooked the tubes up right... (OK, that would have been funnier if you heard me say it, but anyway...)
I don't know, I remember on the old TechTV they had the machines hooked up to plasmas, in fact I believe they still do that on The Lab in Canada. At my local CompUSA they have had several plasmas hooked up to laptops to showcase Vista. (By the way, if anyone from my local CompUSA, 1st: Glad to see your store isn't on the chopping block. 2nd: I don't know how that SUSE Linux website, the one showing off Desktop Effects (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rO9iHWe0_G4), got on that Vista laptop...:sure:
