View Full Version : Anyone else get a "721 Service Not Purchased" tonight on Channel 99

I went online to and PPV'ed (HD) Charlottes Web on channel 99 about twenty minutes before the movie was to start. Seven O'clock rolls around and black screen w/ a 721 Service not Purchased message.

Went back online and tried resending the authorization, that was a no go. Resetting the box didn't help. Called front line CSR, who pretty quickly sent me to tech support. I was on the phone for about 10 minutes and tried the basics.
None of which works.

I've had pretty good success working w/ D*'s CSR's and support. But this go around was disappointing. He pretty much gave up. I got my 5 bucks credited.
PPV on SD here we come.

I have 2 HR20's. One on National release. One on 0x15F. both did the same thing.

I thought I'd throw this out and see if anyone has had this problem on 99 lately. I'll do a serach as well. I haven't experienced a 721 message until now.

I'd push towards signal issue cause that channel only gives that message when the receiver is deactivated.so might be an early sign

Well....that could always be a possibility. But i get strong signals on all the sats and transponders that I'm supposed too.
