Idol - audio cutting in a out

Recording Am Idol, started from beginning about 30 minutes in. It's a disaster, with the audio cutting out and pixelation every few seconds. My box was very stable since this last update. This is really getting tiring. RBR being done now.

Mine came in great OTA, the only 1/2 sec drop was right when Chris Daughtry came on right at 8 pm. I think that had more to do with my local Fox channel turning down the power on the signal after Idol(like they usually do).

Nashville MPEG4 feed had one moment when it flipped to SD (pillar boxed) and PCM audio for about ten seconds. Then it popped back to HD and DD5.1 and continued on just fine. Almost certainly a local affiliate issue.

I had a lot of audio cut out's last night on Fox for 24. But, no pixelation I was using Digital optical output on mine.

It was fine after the RBR, but I missed most of the show. The good news is that I'm not that thrilled with the final two. Liked Daughtry tho.

I think this is the "Every other channel" bug. The reset perhaps assigns the tuners again, or something.

I'm now watching the Wings and Ducks on the "94 HD" channel, and coming in great. This is the first time this channel has ever displayed anything except a blank screen. Just happy that I don't have to watch the SD Vs channel!

That every other channel pixelation problem happened to me. My second replacement unit fixed the problem, one of my tuners was bad. I love the HR20 when it's working. I worry every day that it's going to break though.
