I know MLB offers some sort of player-by-player replay online (I think they show the ptich that results in the hit, out or walk for each at bat)

I think this would transfer well for football, as I've been basically doing this with the 30-second skip button on my Replays and TiVos for a few years now. You can get through a game in about 1:15 to 1:30. Not bad.

30-second skip is usually just perfect for jumping from the end of one play to begining of the next. A penalty will foul things up a bit, but if you see the flag, you usually want to see the call anyway, and then a skip after the call usually gets you ready for the next play again.

I can envision a package on NFL.com or even some college games where each play, plus any penalty calls or replay review results are included. But I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay for it. Perhaps they could throw it in for NFL ST subscribers.

As a current subscriber to MLB webcasts let me tell you its way cool. Condenses a game into about 30 minutes. Great for keeping track of the Giants! :D
