Any way to get around initial setup without phone or adapter?

My power went out earlier today, and now when I try to use the DVR function of my SD Tivo it is trying to go through the whole initial setup. The problem is that it says it has to make a phone call in order to complete setup, and I no longer have a land line. I have broadband at the house, but I do not have an adapter for the Tivo. Is there any way to get around this stupid requirement? This pisses me off, my Tivo has been working fine without a phone line for months, and now this happens and I can't watch any of my recordings. Ugghhhh HELP!!

This is rather odd. Simply losing power should not require completed the full initial Guided Setup. You can complete that process from a friend/neighbor's house with a phone line. You don't need a satellite connection.
