Controlling Dishnetwork on Computer

Is there a way to control my dishnetwork receiver with my computer to integrate it into my home theater system? I know that there is a directv interface that can be added to a home theater computer, but is there a dishnetwork interface that anyone knows of?

TiVos use IR transmitters that pretend to be the remote in order to change channels. Maybe some sort of IR-based solution would work?
