Well, if I understand that really long run-on sentence correctly, yes you probably have a bad HDMI->DVI cable.
The only way to know for sure would be to try the following:

a new cable and same HR20 and display (if that works then it was the cable)
try a different display with the same cable and HR20 (if this works then you have a problem with your display)
try a different HR20 with the same cable and display (if this works then you have a problem with your HR20)

If all of the above tests fail, then you have a problem with either multiple devices or a configuration problem (settings in the display/HR20).

Were those supposed to be posts or just one long title? I don't recall seeing anyone use initial caps throughout an entire post before and completely skip any punctuation.

Upon further review, I did spot two periods and three question marks in the first post (all three ?'s were at the end of the same sentence/phrase/group of words/whatever it was). There was a single period at the end of the 2nd post. BTW, there's no apostrophe in "Thanks".

I know it seems like I'm nitpicking but you have to realize that other people have to be able to read what you type. I'm sure you went to grammar school (are you really smarter than a 5th grader?) so kindly show us your English skills.:D There are enough people in these forums that lack them, but English usually isn't their first language so they have a legitimate excuse.;)
