Anyone having severe breakup on Cincinnati Locals tonight?

A friend in Ohio is trying to find out if it his set up or a local Directv issue.

Yeah, I had the same problem so it must have been a problem with Directv's transmission. Every local channel was breaking up severely late this evening. Every national channel was perfect though. I checked signal strength and all transponders that I receive had a strong signal. Everything's working fine now at least.

I did not have any local channel break up last night at all. But then again, I just has the Slimline dish installed 2 months ago and last night even during the storm I never had a signal drop below 85.

Your friend might have is dish slightly out of kilter.

I was watching FOX on the HD channel and the picture was fine, but audio went out sporadically. Switched to the non HD version and that had image issues. I have a slimline and HR20-100 that was installed on Saturday.
