Hughes Exec Directors Pack Guide Type?

I was wondering what kind of guide type people out there have.Because even though the Executive Directors box itself all look a like, there are many different versions of the same box.go to system setup-->Features, and your guide type should be APG or MPG. APG means the pig(picture in guide) will stay open as you surf the guide 3 days, moving the cursor further to the right. MPG is the older guide system that the pig will not show video the second you move the cursor the right. I would bitch to Hughes if you have a MPG since they were telling people at 954-597-2080 that they were going to upgrade these recievers to the APG guide system via satelite but they never did !!!!

I have the Directors model and it has only a MPG guide and listing is only for two hours.. Go beyond that and it has to download the info from the sat. Pic is in the guide but change to another channel and the picture changes to that channel. It's annoying to say the least.

I have an Executive Director with MPG. I got the upgrade, version 5475, at 4:23 AM Wednesday. It fixed the problem with my Caller ID but did not upgrade the guide to APG and now I have a bug with the Favorites where I have to go to the Guide to change the setting rather than just hitting "Fav" on the remote.
