This is probably a stupid question but I want to make sure I buy the right thing.

I have a Linksys wireless router and I am using all the ethernet ports. I need to add some more and I want to make sure the network hub is what I need. I would appreciate any help and if that is wrong please let me know what I need. Also if anyone has any recommendations of what one to get that would be great.

Thanks
Mike

When I needed to add my HR20 I already had a CAT5 from the 2nd floor to the basement for my computer, I took that line and connected a SMC EZSwitch model SMC-EZ6505TX ($15.99) which gave me four ports. This switch has 5-ports, the first for the network-in & four for components. It has worked perfect without slowing down my connection speed.

Gigabit switches are going for under $40 for a five port model.

Thanks for the replies guys. Harsh do you recommend a certain one.I have a Netgear consumer grade gigabit switch that I picked up for cheap that I use between my gigibit enabled hardware and it is much faster than the switch on my router.
