Newbie Here,

You guys have a great site and I have found all sorts of answers but I have not been able to find out how to setup the remote so I only have to press the guide button once to get to the guide. I know that this is a stupid question. Please don't beat me up too bad.

Which model HR20 do you have... HR20-100 or HR20-700
(makes a difference now).

BTW: There is no stupid questions.... and welcome

If you have a HR20-700 it should be in the menu as of this morning. Because the -700 models got the new GUI update.

If you have a HR20-100. Press menu-->search-->keyword-->type "IAMANEDGECUTTER"-->press continure-->when it finds nothing press and hold the menu and info button on the front of the unit for 2 seconds and let go. A hidden menu will come up and let you change that and two other things. If you need to get into that menu again all you have to do is press the menu and info button again. You do not have to do the search again.

I set my -700 to one button guide a long time ago, but I don't see it listed in the menu as of this mornings update. Just curious how to find it.

It is under the remote setup I believe.

As I posted above you got a update this morning and you should be able to find it under the setup/display in the menu.
