Problem recording current program on 721

Okay,

I realize that this all my resolve itself after a couple of days of using the 721, but I am having a problem recording a program that is currently playing.

I hit the PIP key and switched to the second tuner. I changed channels to the one I want to record (the show is already playing) and hit the record button. I selected "Stop at the end of the event" and hit "Done". The problem is, it won't allow me to select "Done". I highlight it and hit select, but it does nothing.

Any suggestions?

Is this a new 721??
My friend got a new 721, and tried doing this and it did the same thing you said, he basically couldn't set any timers either. A re-boot fixed the problem (pull out smart card or hold down power button on front panel for about 6 sec.)
