No description available 501

I get "no description available" when I push the info button. It is sporadic though. Most shows have the full info but a good amount do not. Has been like this for some time now.

Anyone else having this problem with there 501 guide?

I see the same thing on my 508.

What I want to know is what good does it do to say that you can set up a PVR event for 'Once' and it will follow the show time? If its late then the PVR doesn't start recording until later. Or so the manual says. Whoever sets up the EPG doesn't stay on top of it. I have had several shows that start recording even though the show hasn't started yet. And consequently, it misses that last few minutes because it started too early.

I think this stuff still has a ways to go before its perfected.

The No Description Available and The No Info Available occasionally appear on the info and EPG on my 501. A reset always takes care of the problem. (Hold the power button on the box down until the red light blinks, 3-4 secs)
