View Full Version : Tuner 2 not acquired after power outage
A few days ago we had a bad storm and we lost power for a while. When power came back up it took about 25 minutes for the HR20-700 to come back on.
Yesterday we noticed that Tuner 2 is no longer working. In the sat & Ant test it is showing up as not acquired.
What is the best course of action to get it working again.

Have you reset the unit since the power came back on thru the menu?

I was having the exact same problem. An it also happened after a power outage. I tried unplugging the receiver to reset and also went through the Sat setup again. When it did the tests, it said that Tuner 2 was OK, but I was not getting any signal reading on the second tuner. (Not even zero's showing up)
I then had a problem with only even transponders getting a signal, others showed 0 signal strength. Not sure if it matters, but it's been cloudy and rainy today. Everything (except the second tuner) started working without me doing anything.
Then I read this post and tried "Reset Receiver" from the menu and the second tuner is now working. Thanks!
Ahh, the 'Restart Recorder' in the reset menu worked like a charm.
Cheers.
