D*s Not The Only One With MLB Blackout Screw Ups

So I go to turn on the Yankees game on Fox HD and it's blackout on Time Warner, I switch to the SD feed of Fox and it's in the clear. Not sure why the Yankees would be blacked out in Yankee Territory when the game is not on YES and why only the HD feed is affected. I’m watching the game in HD on unencrypted QAM, so it works out in the end, but still annoying.

Well about a half an hour ago I noticed Fox HD was back in the clear. Looks like TW corrected the problem.

Verizon Fios had the Yankee game on Fox HD with no blackout problem. Must have
been a Time Warner technical feed problem.

I've noticed several instances where a local affiliate has "forgotten" to throw the switch
from SD to HD, either at the beginning of a program or just after a commercial break.

Makes me wonder why this should even be an issue. :confused:

Yep I've noticed the something as well, mostly on Fox, but sometimes on YES as well Coming back from commercials it will be the SD feed, then about 30 secs later, it goes black and the HD feed is back up..
