I've used GIST on the web for a little while now and have found it pretty useful. So I was pretty happy to find it mentioned here: http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=8284

I for one like it, and the fact that we're getting new apps, but is anyone else using this service?

I go to TV MAG every week, if I remember, for the TV and Movie trivia. Usually I'm really bad at tv/movie trivia but the TV MAG questions seem easier for me.

While on the subject of OpenTV, in dunno if its been stated here yet, but under sports there is now a Pro Football section. I just noticed it last week.

I've been using the ZapIt app for movie listings. We live in a rural area, so reliable high-speed internet access (read=DSL or cable modem - NOT DBS internet) is non-existent. My dial-up speed is so painfully slow, that getting weather and movie listings off the dish is really handy. Also, I don't get the paper (I can't stand it), so these interactive satellite apps (no matter how clunky they are) seem to be the best option.

I have used TVMAG a few times - its a good way to get a quick review on whats going on in TV - and the trivia is fun too
