First, to anyone who picked it up, is it alot better than GTA3? Some guys at work think it's the best game in the world. I didn't get a chance to pop it in during my break at work, and I'm not picking it up. I just wanna know.

[RANT] I have never seen so many people waiting for one stupid video game. I go into work at 6:40 this morning (I help open up, cleaning, restocking new and used games), there we people waiting in the cars to pick it up. When most had it on preorder. Like it's not going to be there for you. You have two days from when it goes onsale to pick it up before we will sell it.

At 9:00 people we standing outside the door waiting for us to open up, which we don't do until 10:00. Atleast none of them did anything stupid. By 10:30 we had 133 preorder pickups and 22 buys on GTA:VC. All together we had 352 preorders and 48 buy copies (400 all together). When I left at noon I don't know what it was at. They were still coming though! (RANT off]

Man, I need to calm down. First I am going to take my PS2 and smash it then go play some Blinx and some Super Mario Sunshine.

People need their mindless violence I guess.

What bothers me is a game like this sells like hotcakes, when a game thats truly brilliant, creative and worthy of praise like Sega's Rez, gets all but forgotten because its not filled with mindless pointless violence.

Don't get me wrong, i have no problems with Violence in video games or movies or whatever, but I'm rather sad this is the way the Video game industry is moving..

Plus i think the PS2 is a flaming pile of horse dung, so Ill may get the game when it hits the PC, since its not making the trip to either of the other 2 good consoles.

GTA 3 has to be the hottest game out right now. Buch of kids at school have it for their PS2, I've been wanting it for PC for a while now. Maybe I'll hold off until vice city comes out for PC

FYI...It's $39.99 at Best Buy this week. You can always get other places to price match it if there is no BB local to where you live.

It can be $35 at Best Buy.

Just buy a Gamers Gift Card and put $5 on it. On the back there is a $5 coupon, good on any game priced $19.99 or higher. Your prepaid $5 + $5 coupon means using it gets you GTA:VC for $34.99 net :)

Me, I got my PS2 just 3 weeks ago. My previously-played copy of GTA3 arrived today, and I only paid $20 for it. I have plenty of carnage to create in Liberty City until the price of Vice City comes down as well :D

The game is also good for a sociology experiment. The lesson learned here is: Do good and nothing bad happens to ya (Yeah, right) or do bad and learn the consequences.

Im gonna get a copy of one along with a new XBOX (I have a PS2, Sega Dreamcast, and a N64 too) in a few weeks. Im gonna experiment and search throughout the game just doing nothing but good things. I have a friend who actually wants me to see if I can get myself into an evening of rodeo in this game. It wont probably happen, but Im gonna try and see if it works.
