A few weeks back, in the Charlie Chat, it was announced that various of the Fox Sports Regional channels were being broadcast in HD on new channels. In my particular area (NC), according to the announcement, I should be getting Fox Sports South and Sports South (formerly Turner Sports) in HD. But the Dish folks say they know nothing about it, and I'm not getting the HD channels. Does anyone out there have any further info on this?

Thanks.

Fox Sports South is on channel 370 and Sports South is on channel 387. Both are turned on, but you may only be receiving the HD telacasts and a blank channel the rest of the time. You need be subscribed to the AT100+ programing and be using a Vip receiver to see them (meaning a 622, 211, 411 or 222 receiver) and be able to see the 129 orbital location.

I have 370, but I do not see 387. I'm on AT250 w/ HD... and pointing to 129... so if 387 is up and active and supposed to be for folks in NC, then I should have it. I think maybe NC (or at least the middle and eastern part) does not get 387.

I have a 622 and have the AT100 programing as well as the 129 satellite. But no channel 370 or 387 in HD. I am in central NC. Very frustrating.

RSN's are given on AT100+ not AT100.

As garys notes... you have to have the AT100+ to get your local RSN in SD or HD. I think that is $5.99 or something like that as an add-on? Could be making that up though since I'm too lazy to check :)

I forget if they are part of the AT200 package... but I know they are part of the AT250 package that I subscribe to... except as I noted above, in Raleigh I get FOX South in SD and HD... but I do not get the other RSN mentioned by the original poster here. I'm not sure that I am supposed to get that other one though.
