The other night I recorded "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" on my HR20. The whole second half of the show did not record - a message came on saying the station was having problems. HOWEVER, the same show recorded perfectly on an HR10 at the same time on the same channel - no problems. Since the difference is MPEG4 vs. MPEG2 I am wondering if this indicates some sort of serious problem with MPEG4.

You don't give your location but to have the same channel in both MPEG-2 & 4 says NYC or LA.
I watched it in MPEG-4 all the way through. You seemed to have the MPEG-4 feed take a dump.

It indicates that the local station had an uplink problem to DirecTV's MPEG4 receive facility in that market.
