Hotpass freeview...First D* Mssg in a LONG time

Just noticed that D*s message feature sent me a notice of a free preeeview for Hotpass this coming weekend.

First time I noticed that feature used since I got my first H20 more than 18 months ago.

Hopefully it will continue to be used to announce preview and freeview type events and programming.:lol:

I don't think I got it? But now how do you tell? There used to be a light, but now the only way I know is to go into the Menu? I went into my Menu, but there was no message there :( I'm like you I think this feature should be used much more like it was in the past.

The "envelope" icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen was illuminated, just like the "speaker" or "lock" illuminate if in use. Just happened to notice it. At first I thought it might have been there the day before but not sure about that. Grandkids are keeping me really busy away from the TV.

I've still managed to get in all the Sox games so far but it has been tough.:D


After I noticed it was illuminated I hit the "menu", "caller ID & Msgs", MSgs menus and there it was.

I didn not check any of my SD recievers or the Sony HD-100 to see if I got the message on those as well.

With that many STBs on you're account I'm surprised they didn't send over his pit crew to detail you're ride at the same time.:)

Seriously though, how does the H20 look with the 27" Olevia? Much blur to quick motion?

I was looking at one of those for the bedrooom.
