I currently have DirecTV at home and in the RV with a Motosat MHDTV on our Airstream.
Now DirecTV is adding all these new channels on new satellites that I will NOT be able to recieve in the RV
I just spoke with a DISH retailer, and he says all current and forseeable future HD channels will be on the three current satellites?
I may have to pay a few bucks to switch to the DISH capable Motosat, so I wanted to find out of this is indeed true.

I know of not one single RV mount that will track 3 birds which is required on an HD package.

Here's a couple of quotes from a installer site.

Spoke with King Controls. Their system does have 129 and 148 in the database for manual activation, but of course will not auto move on channel selection. The unit does auto move on channel selection between 119 and 110 by sensing the DiSEqC signal used to control a SW21. I think you install a SW21 to the dual port LNB. When you run a check switch the receiver configures itself for a SW21. When the receiver sends the signal to switch the SW21, the kingdome senses that signal (because the satellite cables route through the kingdome control box) and moves the dish.

Here is what my rep said. Not exactl the answer I was looking for, but addresses all issues raised.:
The dishes were designed for “mobile Marine use” and I have had not a single complaint to date regarding the control panel and switching satellites manually. Most customers like the fact that they actually have a control panel in which to “self diagnose issues that may arise. If the dish were to lose signal it would try to re-acquire and then it would go to the next satellite in its inventory. As for KA band you know more about it than the technicians at Sea Tel, they are trained to fix current technology issues. I was able to find out that currently Direct TV has only a some local HD programming coming off from 99.2 Wand 102.8 W on KA. I am sure that if this is the future Sea Tel Engineering is working on a solution.

The Coastal 14 is designed for the center of the footprints, not fringe areas. I have had good success with the Coastal 18 working where other 24” dishes work. Generally speaking the West coast uses an America LNB, on a Coastal 18, 24, or 30. This gives them access to DLA receivers to head North or South as the coverage is much better than with Dish or Direct.

Dish Makes Equipment For Home Use,directv Makes Equipment For Home Use. These Other Guys Make A (mount) Some Are Motorized And Some Are Not .they Made Them To Look At One Location At A Time(dish And Directv Mounts And Lnbs Are Made To Be Stationary And Look At More Then One Sat Location). Until These Rv People Make All The Parts To Work Together(dish Mount Rec And Lnb) Your Not Going To Have A System That Does What A Home System Does. So Tell The Customer Up Front This Rec Was Designed For Home Use Not Rv Use, The Dish And Mount Maybe Designed For Rv Use But They (the Rv Guys)failed To Make A Rec For Rv Use. If The Want Basic Programming Sell Them A 311 To Use With Rv Or Boat If They Want Hd Or Dual Tuner Rec Then They Use Dish 500 Or In The Case Of Hd 1000.2 On A Tripod Or Other Stationary Mount Because Rec Was Designed That Way,or Wait Till Equipment Is Designed And Manufactured. Youll Have Happy Customer Or You Can Try And Rig Crap Together And Have Pissed Off Customer Cause It Dont Work Right.

Check the excellent channel charts on the EKB for either 129 http://ekb.dbstalk.com/129list.htm or 61.5, one or the other of these would be the 3rd bird you're missing out on.
