Problem with live buffer

Last night I had the Cubs game on live tv and started to watch a show in my now playing list, when I exited the show from my no playing list my buffer for the Cubs game was gone. I tried rewinding and it kept stopping at the end of the green bar.

Is this a software problem or am I doing something wrong?

Unfortunately, that is a current software problem. It seems to be hit or miss on whether is loses the buffer when you paly a recording. Not sure if anyone has found the pattern yet.
