Nearest DMA

I have a question...I currently get Fox and NBC from New York thanks for waivers from my locals. My locals stations are not currently provided by satellite and who knows if they ever will be. At any rate, I seem to be able to pick up STRONG signals from the spotbeams serving nearby Harrisburg and also Pittsburgh. Since I can receive them, does anyone know if I could opt to get them instead of New York since I am in the range of the spots providing those cities? I'd kinda like to get something closer to me if possible.

Legitimately, you CANNOT because DISH or DTV will NOT sell you distants in these cities, either as a package or a la carte, if your address is NOT in these DMA's.

D* ONLY sells NY & LA as distants
E* ONLY sells NY, LA, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver as distants

If you want either one of those cities, you'll need to "move" to an address within one of them to get them
