View Full Version : Order not showing on my my account page

I called D* yesterday and have an order in for the HR-20/HD upgrade. I was able to get the DVR free plus S&H. I had them bill it to my account and it (the S&H charge) is showing on my acccount page. However, the order itself (new equipment) is not showing up on my account paage. Also, when I go to the "change your installation date" page, the order does not show up either. I know it is DirecTV's system, as when I called to conrfirm the order and also to ask for a closer installation date, the CSRs are able to pull it up. However, I am curious why it is not showing up on the account page I log onto. Interestingly, I do still see the order I placed three years ago for my 2nd DirecTIVO unit. It shows as "unscheduled" despite my having had it for over 3 years.

I believe if you go to my account. Then down the page some or the right it says orders. Click on that and you will see your order.

The exact same thing is happing to me (I'm actually getting it installed tomorrow). But I contacted the contractor who's doing the installation and they had all the info straight, so I think it'll be fine. They must just have something screwing going on with their computer system right now.
EDIT: @ BMoreRavens, it's not showing up there.

Same thing here. I scheduled my order on 7/6/07, and I've called back twice (including once this morning) to verify that the work order is on my account, even though it is still not showing up online. The CSRs have pulled up the work order both times, with all details being correct both times. They apologized for the glitch and were not able to explain it. Not too concerned about...that is, unless the installer doesn't show up this weekend!

Thanks, but the point of my post was that it is not showing up there on the order page. As the other 2 posters have pointed out with a similar experience, sounds like a disconnect in their system somewhere. I bet they are getting a lot of calls from customers because of this!

I just looked(scheduled mine on Monday) and mine is showing. I'd call to make sure, if I were you.
I do have a question tho, on mine it shows "Swap ReplaceImplied DVR IRD"
Does that mean they are taking/want to take my old one? I don't want them to and they shouldn't, since I actually own it(it's not a lease).

I apologize. I did not realize at the time I posted that other people were having the same problem. I just wanted to make sure you were looking at the right place on DIRECTV’s website.

No problem! Thanks for the replies. I am sure I will call the day before just to make sure........
I hate to have to call to validate things or to be able to check on other available installation times. It would be nice if I could do it online.

Now it shows up on the page. I got a confirm-the-date automated phone call the other day - I wonder if my saying yes to that has anything to do with it now
showing up.

I don't think they will want to take it, I haven't heard of them taking any. You should be fine.
