New Classic Sports Network

It appears that there is a new Claissc Sports Network on the air! This one appears to be much more interesting the ESPN Classic Sports.

It appears as though most of the time before 2:30 is used for commercials or paid programming. Either way, that channel looks like a REAL awesome classic sports network. Both Dish Network and DirecTV should work a deal with Golden Sports. They can't be THAT expensive.

Isn't someone planning a College Sports Network, to show sports and mid-level colleges that usually don't get picked up by the more well-known outlets?

Seems like a half-college/half classsic network might be good (and use up some of the piad-programming time)

I love the schedule this station has! Another it has is it airs some of the classic commercials from the programs!

The shows are air unedited, meaning the shows will have their origional announcers and graphics (ESPN Classic Sports likes changing the announers and using modern graphics)

I also like the idea of Classic Wrestling every day!

The channel goes on the air on November 11th, PLEASE DISH get this channel!

Looks as if it would be a worthy addition to the program lineup of any CATV or DBS provider.

BTW, ESPN Classic was a much better channel before they bought it. It started out as an independently owned service called simply "Classic Sports Network". But ESPN, who likes to get their hands on everything, offered enough money and Classic Sports sold out to ESPN. IMHO, the current programming is not nearly as good as before ESPN swallowed it up.

Hey Ryan...I had heard at one time about a College Sports Network...about a year ago I think.....Supposedly they had programming contracts signed and all.....but since I saw that...I havent heard a damn thing..

National College Sports Network, being done by the former owners of Classic Sports Network, will "bow" the 1st quarter of 2003.

Golden is asking C Band subs to pay $6 month - ya right - this channel has a great chance of success...
