So much that you registered them?

Most of the SW I used and registered were conversion tools that required Registration to use more than X days and to work better.

TMPGEncPlus - 3rd Party MPEG encoder...Also Converts MOV to MPG, MPG file merger. My authoring SW would not accept a AVI because it was "Non standard", loaded it in TMPGEncPLUS to convert to NTSC DVD and it then worked great with no loss. $48 to register

DVDCutter Stream - To extract data from VOB files and write to AVI files. Supposedly converts Real Media files to AVI but never worked well for me. $29 to Register

EO Video - Works great for converting RM to AVI/MPG, merges files easier. $34 to register

There is some overlap, but there isn't a util that does everything.

Anyone else using any other utils that they can recommend or maybe replaces all 3 listed here.

I use Adobe Premier to do all my editing.

I use TMPEngPlus to do most of MPEG-2 Encoding, I use Ligo's encoder (got on promo for $50 also) to do quick and dirty encodes (does faster than real time, with good quality).

I use ReelDVD to do my Dolby Digital encoding and DVD authoring.
