Mighty Ducks goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere has seen the move before, in practice.
Bruins goalie Steve Shields saw it just once, last night. He saw the same thing Giguere has seen: a shift from forehand to backhand and then a top-shelf goal by Anaheim's Paul Kariya.
''When he [Kariya] makes a move, you always think he's going to shoot,'' said Giguere, ''but he's so quick with his hands. That's actually a new shot he worked on this summer and he told me before our first practice, `I've got a new shot for you. Be ready.' And he scored a few of those on me in practice. It's something Shields hasn't seen before.''
