Anyone receive the following in their inbox this evening? Had a link with a unique code, otherwise I would post it.

As a valued subscriber to MLB Extra Innings and MLB Extra Innings SuperFan packages on DIRECTV we are looking for some of your input on the baseball broadcasts. SuperFan is in it's inaugural year and your feedback is very important to us as we continue to fine tune the broadcasts in the weeks and years to come.

This survey should take about 5 minutes to complete.

Thank you for participating in our MLB Extra Innings survey.

Sincerely,

MLB Extra Innings on DIRECTV Team

I got one and completed it. I pretty much responded that I don't use the other Superfan features other than the HD games. I used Game Mix maybe twice and Strike Zone never.

I also only really got Superfan to watch Yankees HD games, although I've watched some other HD games on occasion. I also said I was undecided if I would subscribe to Superfan next season. Not sure how this will go since almost 100% of the EI games next year should be in HD.

It would not surprise me if you will still need the SuperFan package to receive the HD games for anything other than your local RSN.

I said that there were far too many Yankee and Red Sox games on the HD, and too few HD games, period.

Strike Zone is for the ADHD fan, which is the antithesis of a baseball fan.

And, let's get the out-of-market Fox games available!!!!

Agree !! Perhaps it's different on west coast where the priority would naturally be with the Dodgers and Padres ...

While I did not receive the survey, the basic answers would be: (1) I purchased MLBEI so that I could watch the Padres play as one of my cousins married a starting pitcher three years ago; and (2) I added the SuperFan so I could watch games in HD.

cheers

Got the survey too, gave them high marks on everything although I rarely use Strike Zone at times it is useful. So its not just for the "ADHD fan" as commented above. True the HD game choices are limited for now, but come September and next year those barriers will be gone.
