So far I have been unimpressed with this effort. Maybe after Buffy and Angel, my expectations were to high.

this is not the year for the "wunderkind"-whedon's newbie is losing viewers fast and kelly's "girl's club" has already been canceled...

AFAIK, the original two-hour pilot movie will air on December 20th. I haven't watched the series, only PVR-ed it for later transfer and viewing.

I was really impressed with the episode last week, and the one this week was pretty good I thought. The first one, though, was really bad...can't believe FOX made them show that one first...It's no wonder that not many people are watching. Not to mention the Friday at 8 timeslot is the timeslot of Death.

This show is growing on my, though, and I hope that Fox gives them a chance to get their feet under them.

TiVoed it each week and after 3rd week, let them pile up until I just deleted the Season pass.

As I posted on DBSForums, I really didn't like the literal "Old West" look of the planets, and nothing compelling about the characters, plotlines. At least with Buffy and Angel (and other shows like Highlander) there was existing material to start the interest and keep you going a little longer.

its too slow getting started and there is not enough action in it for me.

How many of you have noticed the Chinese references made in this movie? My daughter is 6 yrs old and Chinese and her favorite word is (pronounced) Peegoo which means bottom (as in butt) in Chinese.

Friday's show one of the characters made mention of "A stick up your Peegoo" or something to that effect. I laughed my Peegoo off at that one.
They also said "Shay Shay", Thank You.

I like this show, especially the "personal companion", what a babe!

I like the show. The problem in the beginning with shows like this is that you need time to develop the characters. I think all the characters are great and in time it will be a great show.
