I live near Los Angeles,CA and currently have an oval dish with 2 LNB's pointing at 95 (internationals) and 101 (regular programming).

My patio does NOT have visibility to 110/119.

Given that D10 will be live sometime this fall poiting at 103, whats the probablity that my patio can pick this?

Iam interested in HD programming - what all HD channels will be coming in D10(103) and D11(99).I want to know both national HD's and LA locals

What dish(es) should i have, to receive all 95,99,101,103?

Appreciate your responses.

Thanks

You should be in good shape to "see" 99 and 103-deg W if you have clear view of 95 and 101-deg W. See the link in my signature .... the location of the moon & sun at certain times of day can help determine where the satellites are located in the sky.

As far a programming goes, check out the next Forum down.

As far as dishes go, you'll need a 5-LNB dish and an installer willing to install one without worrying about 110/119-deg W satellites. You'll also need another dish aimed just at 95-deg W with a new Zinwell WB68 multiswitch to combine the two dishes together. It's possible we'll see a new 3-LNB dish just for 99/101/103-deg satellites, but nothing has been announced yet.
