Frequent RED LED call home?

About 3 or 4 times a day, the record light comes on RED for maybe 30 secs. If I go into Setup and hit enter (for the HR20 to display my settings), the red LED goes out. This is NOT the Orange color when recording, but rather a RED LED. Simply a different color of the same indicator. I do not purchase PPV events, so why this thing would be calling home so many times a day is beyond me.

Anyone else seeing this phenomenon?

The red light is when the box is calling "home". Check this thread for some good info on it:

I read of prople who get the red modem activity light, I have never seen it, I wonder if I should be concerned. It is on a phone line and we have ordered PPV in the past, although usually on line. The receiver is working perfectly, I suppose I shouldn't be concerned and I do get billed for the PPV's.
