Wow, *E* took out a full page add in our local paper advertising the up coming weather channel in HD. Whoopee %@#& do. Still no HD locals or bigten network. I'm impressed. :mad:

Yep... to be fair... everyone in the US can watch the Weather Channel... Only people in Big Ten Country would get value from that channel... and only people in the local market would get value from those HD locals as well... so I can understand advertising a national channel over any market-based one.

But a full-page ad from Dish would surprise me.

The add could have been from a local satellite installer, all I remember is reading the Dishnetwork part and the add for the weather channel. I guess the point I was trying to make is the fact that Dish never seems to add anything that I watch. We were supposed to get our locals in HD a long time ago. but then nothing came up.
