Some music channels louder than others

Anyone else notice that some music channels are really quiet and others are louder than a used car salesman?

I really notice a difference between 953 (Jukebox Gold) and 954 (70s Songbook).

I just tuned in to my guide and punched in Jukebox Gold and 70's songbook. To tell you the truth, there is a big difference.
I'm sure it's nothing major though.
Most of the rest of the music seems to be fine.
Maybe it has something to do with the difference between the music being played.

I've been looking at this a bit. I have come to the conclusion it is a content issue. Some stuff on the same channel is quiet, while the next song is louder. But if the content did not have much master compression (not mpeg) the waveforms will be bigger and the material may sound quieter, but more alive.

I don't really mind it though.
I listen to mostly Jazz, and HOLIDAY MUSIC when it comes on ;)
