I called yesterday and complained briefly and all the person would offer for my troubles was 3 months of Showtime/Cinemax. that didn't appeal to me.
here's my situation:
1. first install was for this past Saturday. I call on Friday to CIS and verify that the 5lnb dish is on the work order. The installer shows up mid-morning and doesn't have a dish with him. I asked him if a 6x8 switch would work since we already have 7 lines coming into the house. he gets on the phone and has a 6x16 switch added to the work order.
2. we're re-scheduled for Tuesday morning, 8-12. At 11, we get a call and the installer (no idea if it was the same company) informs us he doesn't have the necessary switch in-stock and re-scheduled us for this Saturday, 12-5.
now technically, we didn't get no-showed by the installers but that's twice where they didn't have the necessary equipment to complete the install. is the $100 programming credit typically only for those that got no-showed by the installers or might I have a case here? the person I talked to yesterday didn't seem too sympathetic and I didn't have much time to go back-and-forth so I'll try my luck again but I was wondering if I even had much of a chance in the first place.
